Identità, territorio, talento: FC Lugano e Team Ticino Femminile ancora insieme

F.C. Lugano SA is pleased to announce the renewal of its partnership with the Team Ticino Femminile association for an additional three seasons, until the end of the 2027/28 season. The new agreement is based on a mutual trust strengthened over the years and a shared vision for the future of elite women's soccer in Ticino. The agreement has as its main objectives the promotion and development of elite women's soccer in our region, the progressive improvement of the sporting level of the First Team, and the building of an identity strongly rooted in the Ticino territory.

FC Lugano, which is recognized by the Swiss Football Association (SFA) as a flagship club for elite women's soccer, thus reaffirms its commitment and support for the benefit of the women's movement in Ticino, which has FC Lugano's First Team as its sporting reference point. A specific technical committee with representatives from both entities will make the collaboration even more solid and effective. It will have the task of coordinating and facilitating ongoing confrontation, encouraging shared choices and ensuring the strategic coherence of a project that is based on the use of targeted skills and qualified coaches.

Sebastian Pelzer, Chief Sports Officer F.C. Lugano SA: "We are very happy to be able to continue on this path together with Team Ticino Femminile. The renewal of the agreement is an important step in the direction of continuity and growth of elite women's soccer in our region. We firmly believe in the potential of the regional women's movement and we are convinced that, through common planning, quality, skills and vision, we will be able to offer young female athletes in the area a high-level technical project that has in the HCL First Team a solid, stimulating and ambitious point of reference."

Elisa Ruggeri and Tiziano Negri, Co-presidents of Team Ticino Femminile: "We are proud to renew this collaboration with FC Lugano, a solid partner that supports us and shares the same values and our commitment to the development of women's soccer in Ticino. This agreement represents an important confirmation of the goodness of the work done so far and allows us to look to the future with enthusiasm, aware that we can offer our young female athletes a quality training path, ambitious and consistent with the needs of elite soccer. This collaboration fully responds to the vision shared by the Swiss Football Association and the Ticino Football Federation, which hope for a synergic work between the realities present in the territory to strengthen the women's movement."
