FC Lugano saluta e ringrazia sei giocatori a fine contratto   

FC Lugano announces the termination of employment with six members of the roster - whose contracts expire on June 30, 2025 - who, in recent seasons, have contributed to the club's growth and success.

Special thanks go to Roman Macek, a Czech midfielder born in 1997, who has worn the bianconeri jersey for more than six seasons. Since his arrival in January 2019, he has played 134 official matches, scoring 2 goals and providing 13 assists. Roman Macek, who arrived in Ticino from Juventus, thanks to the great professionalism that has always characterized him, in all respects, leaves an indelible mark in the recent history of the club and in the hearts of the fans.

Also leaves FC Lugano Milton Valenzuela, an Argentine left flanker born in 1998, who collected 110 appearances, 6 goals and 10 assists in three and a half seasons. He arrived in Cornaredo in January 2022 and was one of the architects of the Swiss Cup triumph on May 15, 2022 in Bern.

Ignacio "Nacho" Aliseda, an Argentine external striker born in 2000, joined Lugano in early 2022. In 92 official matches he scored 22 goals and provided 9 assists. With his crystal clear talent and ability to decide matches with spectacular goals, he has been a valuable asset to the team.

Boris Babic, a Swiss-Serbian forward born in 1997, came to Ticino from FC St. Gallen in the 2022/23 season. In the HCL jersey he recorded 48 appearances, 10 goals and 6 assists. In addition, he contributed to the U21 team in the Hoval Promotion League.

Allan Arigoni, a Ticino defender born in 1998, arrived from Grasshopper Club Zürich in the 2022/23 season. After a season on loan at Chicago Fire FC, he ends his experience in Lugano with 61 appearances, 3 goals and 5 assists.

Finally, he leaves the team Kacper Przybyłko, Polish center forward born in 1993, who arrived in Lugano in February 2024 from Chicago Fire FC (41 appearances, 8 goals and 1 assist).

FC Lugano thanks each of these players for their contributions and professionalism and wishes them all the best for the future, both sporting and personal. Macek, Valenzuela, Aliseda, Babic, Arigoni, and Przybylko will receive the applause of the Cornaredo stadium and a tribute from the club before the whistle blows for FC Lugano-BSC Young Boys on Saturday, May 24, 2025 (6 p.m.).
