FC LUGANO ON TOUR, A SUCCESS THAT IS RENEWED

This year too, three regional football clubs are involved, representing three different geographical areas of Ticino: AC Vallemaggia, FC Aquila and AS Basso Ceresio. It will therefore be on the fields of Maggia, Torre and Melano that Mattia Croci-Torti’s team will hold “away” training sessions, before making themselves available to anyone who will have the pleasure of showing up at the field to see their favourites up close, for some autographs, to take some photographs and to buy the official gadgets of the black and white Club.

Complete success for the second edition of FC Lugano On Tour, an initiative included in the summer preparation calendar that includes three training sessions in three different regions to strengthen the club’s bond with the territory and lay the foundations for greater involvement of all the geographical realities that make up our Canton.

After the downpour that on Thursday 26 June 2025 refreshed the atmosphere at the Pineta di Maggia, without however taking anything away from the joy and fun, nor discouraging the participation of fans and enthusiasts, FC Lugano went up to the Valle di Blenio on Saturday 28, on the Torre pitch, as a guest of FC Aquila. Scorching heat, in the Valle del Sole, and very intense training, in a priceless setting for beauty and views. The third stage took place on Sunday 29, in Melano, organized by AS Basso Ceresio and the related Raggruppamento allievi. Even in the south of Ticino, the weather conditions were decidedly summery, to close the second edition of FC Lugano On Tour in the best possible way, the basic idea of which is, let us remember, to “export” the black and white colours outside the Lugano region, to allow Ticino fans and enthusiasts to see the Bianconeri at work up close and to spend some time with players and staff members, in the pleasant convivial moments (meet & greet) that followed the “extra muros” training sessions.

FC Lugano would like to sincerely thank the clubs involved in this initiative (AC Vallemaggia with the Fan Club “Noi bianconeri-Locarnese e Vallemaggia”, FC Aquila and AS Basso Ceresio) for their hospitality, as well as all those who took part and contributed to its success.

Now the team returns to Caslano, for the final part of the summer “retreat”, and then continues the approach to the 2025/26 season in Cadro.
