EZGJAN ALIOSKI TORNA A LUGANO: CONTRATTO DI DUE ANNI

FC Lugano is pleased to announce the return to the black and white of  Ezgjan Alioski  (12.02.1992). The North Macedonian international (85 appearances, 13 goals) has signed a two-year contract valid until 30 June 2027, with an option to remain at the club beyond the contractual terms.

For the 33-year-old left back, this is a welcome return to Lugano, where he already wore the black and white jersey in the 2015/16 seasons (18 appearances and 3 goals) and 2016/17, the one of his consecration in the top Swiss championship, closing with 36 matches, 16 goals and 14 assists. Numbers that earned him a move to Leeds United in the English Championship and thanks to which he left an indelible mark in the hearts of the black and white fans who, in addition to his talent, also appreciated his generosity and charisma.

This operation fits perfectly into the strategy outlined by the company on the transfer market: to strengthen the squad with profiles of proven experience, capable not only of raising the technical level of the team, but also of acting as a point of reference for the younger teammates, encouraging their growth and development both on the pitch and in the locker room.

After ending a spell in the Saudi Pro League in the Al Ahli jersey, Alioski recently shone in North Macedonia outings, once again demonstrating personality and technical and goal-scoring qualities. As mentioned, his resume is embellished by important experiences in major European leagues, including the Premier League with Leeds United and the Turkish Super Lig, in the shirt of Fenerbahce.

Sebastian Pelzer, Chief Sports Officer F.C. Lugano SA: "We are pleased to announce the return of Ezgjan, a player whose experience and personality perfectly embodies the values and spirit of our group. His technical qualities and charisma make him a reference point, as he proved recently by contributing decisively to Al-Ahli's victory in the Asian Champions League. After giving us unforgettable moments in his first experience in Lugano, we are proud to be able to start a new chapter together."

FC Lugano welcomes Ezgjan back with great enthusiasm and confidence, convinced that his contribution will be instrumental in the growth path of the group and in achieving the sports goals
